CVS Money Maker Deal

One really noteworthy deal if you can find it.  I don’t have my ad in front of me, but there’s a promotion where you get $10 ECB’s for buying any 2 Hawaiian Tropic items.  Most of these items are around $10 apiece, which is not impressive, but I found some Hawaiian Tropic lip balms on a little wire hanger near the sunscreens.  They were $1.99 each.  So I bought 2 for $3.98 (paid with ECB’s of course) and got back $10.  Woo hoo!  I needed a money maker this week.

Grocery Cheapies Through 5/13

This may vary slightly from region to region, but here are some good grocery deals through tomorrow that aren’t free, but they’re cheap.

KROGER

Land O’Frost Select Lunchmeat 5.5 oz. (freezes well)

Supposedly there is a 45c peelie coupon on the package which will be doubled
(remember to buy one package per transaction)

Land O’Frost Delishaved Lunch Meat 12 oz. (freezes well)
2 for $5
Use the 45c coupon in Sunday’s paper (one per transaction so they all double)
Pay $1.60/package

Strawberries are $1.47/lb.
